Back in March, hospitality investment and management company Highgate announced a partnership with MINA Group, the hospitality company from Michelin-Star Chef Michael Mina, and restaurateur Patric Yumul. TableOne Hospitality, a press release said, will “create exclusive hotel restaurant concepts by world-class, Michelin Star and James Beard award-winning chefs – while simultaneously paving the way for up-and-coming culinary talent curated by Chef Mina.”

One of these is planned for Las Vegas, according to the careers page on TableOne’s website, which calls for applications for high level positions like Director of Culinary, Executive Sous Chef, and Administrative Manager. The restaurant, whose name, concept, and cuisine have yet to be announced, is projected to open early in 2023.

“TableOne is the platform where we can pass on our formulas and systems to both industry newcomers and established chefs,” TableOne CEO and Co-Founder Patric Yumul, formerly President and Co-Founder of MINA Group, said in the press release. “The partnership with Highgate is the perfect opportunity to bring our obsession with the craft of service and the art of hospitality to their leading luxury and lifestyle hotels.”

TableOne has already debuted one concept, Los Angeles’s Mother Tongue, a restaurant from Chef Michael Mina, headed up by Executive Chef Fernando Darin and offering “a new culinary dialect.” Its dinner menu features a scrumptious-sounding variety of dishes like Chilled Peruvian Bay Scallops with passion fruit, hearts of palm, and huacatay; Rossejat De Fideos For 2 (2lb Maine Lobster, pimento de la vera, shaved fennel); and Jidori Chicken Tikka Masala.

Yet to debut is La Société Bar & Café, “a modern brasserie featuring classic French dishes using the bounty of California ingredients” led by Executive Chef Alexandre Viriot and set to open soon in San Francisco.

A representative of the company declined to comment last week on the name and branding of the Las Vegas project. Further details are currently unavailable, but stay tuned for updates as this story unfolds.
