“We know that it’s up and coming,” owner Joseph Gonzalez said of the location in a Monday afternoon phone call with What Now Las Vegas. “It’s a great place to go on the weekends. If you’re going to the Arts District, you’re going to see us.”

The menu at the original location on S Fort Apache Rd offers a considerable variety of choices to hungry diners, opening with appetizers like garlic bread, fried calamari, and fried ravioli. Pizzas come in varieties like Eggplant Delight and the Sicilian Pie (square deep dish with garlic and olive oil, pizza sauce, and mozzarella), along with lighter options like Salad Pizza and Keto Pizza. Pastas come with sauces like meat sauce, tomato sauce, butter sauces, and more, and also in oven baked varieties like lasagna, cannelloni, and baked penne. To finish, guests can choose from desserts like New York Cheesecake, tiramisu, cannoli, and homemade zeppole.

The menu will be expanded in the new location, Gonzalez said, with the addition of further healthy choices, with an expanded salad menu and new dishes that center salmon, and which aren’t available at the Fort Apache location. Burgers will also be on the menu.

“The menu will change a little, but the experience will be the same,” Gonzalez said. The interior will also be slightly different, he added, with different murals on the walls and more artwork in general, in keeping with the restaurant’s location. The food’s affordable price, however, will remain the same.

“For the people that work in the area—city workers, medical workers—we’re excited to have a store where they can come get a lunch or dinner at a reasonable price.”

The new Brooklyn’s Best Pizza and Pasta location’s opening date has not yet been announced.
