Island Pacific Supermarket — with locations in California and Nevada — Friday grand opened at 317 N. Nellis Blvd on the edge of Sunrise Manor. The new outpost is the seventeenth location for the chain, according to an announcement this week, and is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Island Pacific specializes in Filipino food and seafood. The company recently launched its private label program known as Island Pacific Select.
“Island Pacific’s professional buyers and R&D department meticulously grade and analyze each product before making it a part of the’ Island Pacific Select’ product line,” according to an announcement at the time of the launch. “The objective of Island Pacific’s private label program is to guarantee that customers are buying premium quality products. Island Pacific pledges to never compromise quality over price.”
Among Island Pacific’s private label program are its Select Glazed Banana Thins, made in the Philippines and imported to California.
