“As the sports scene in Las Vegas has evolved with professional teams coming to town, sports bar and grill concepts have also evolved,” Carver Road Hospitality Co-Founder and CEO Sean Christie said in a press release. “Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar will strive to become the next generation leader by delivering an approachable premium dining, drinking, and sports viewing experience.”

The brand’s menu will feature scratch burgers and sliders, shareable tacos, and other handheld foods, plus salads, bowls, and weekend brunch. In good sports bar fashion, Flanker will offer an extensive selection of beers draft and bottled. Award-winning mixologist (and Carver Road VP of Beverage and Hospitality Culture) Francesco Lafranconi will be behind the sport’s bar’s beverage program.

Flanker will be split into a 102-seat main dining room, a 66-seat sports bar and lounge area, and a 56-seat private dining room that can be reserved as a whole or divided into two or three sections. Add to this a 19-seat “hidden private karaoke/game day viewing and dining suite” and a 24-seat patio, and you’ve got a top-notch sports bar setup.

At Mandalay Bay, Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar will be part of an exciting roster of restaurants, which includes Stripsteak, Lupo by Wolfgang Puck, and KUMI Japanese Restaurant + Bar.
