Though not a retail location for the business, the two hope that isn’t too far off in their future.

“It would be nice to open our own store,” Karina Stafford admitted.

Catalyst Tea just recently began taking orders from customers.

“We are so happy to announce that we are finally ready to take orders,” Catalyst Tea posted to Instagram last week. “It’s been a challenging but incredibly interesting process of building everything from scratch to where we are now. We just can’t wait to share with you this universe of herbal teas. To start, we have crafted six different blends that are ready-to-go.”

A family-own startup, the Catalyst Tea Company is dedicated to helping people explore and enjoy the benefits of mixing herbal teas in their own homes.

An online retail only for the moment, Karina Stafford is particularly proud of Catalyst’s customization options.

“A big focus of what we do is our herbal tea kits,” she explained. “Imagine you receive a box and within it, you have several kinds of base herbs, like black tea and green tea, and several kinds of flavors, like peppermint. You mix it yourself with the instructions we provide.”

She said the hope is that customers take advantage and make different kinds of teas each day.

In the future, Catalyst will be doing online events on its website to help customers figure out what their perfect blend is.
