Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge, an “upscale escape” offering vintage and rare champagnes, cocktails, and wines, will open its doors this summer in conjunction with the Las Vegas Strip’s new 3,500-room Resorts World.
From Clique Hospitality, Gatsby’s will be housed in the heart of the resort, just off the casino floor, complete with a 360-degree bar.
“Gatsby’s is about to up the ante for Las Vegas lounges,” John Pettei, managing partner for Play Management, said in a prepared statement this week. “Attention to detail is our calling card – from the thoughtful cocktail program and vast champagne selection to the lounge’s beautiful design and spirited ambiance.”
In addition to its “masterful cocktail collection of one-of-a-kind sips with over-the-top effects,” many of them champagne-themed, Gatsby’s will offer a secret drink menu to “keep the offerings fresh and celebratory” — updated on a monthly basis offering a rotating selection of featured champagne, seasonal libations, and limited-time spirits.
Conceptualized by design firm Kudos, the 4,090 square-foot lounge will be outfitted with couches, high-top tables, and its central bar. Overhead, a congregation of illuminated orbs provides a nod to the bevy of bubbles available by the glass.
Gatsby’s is one of several concepts announced recently for Resorts World. Plans this week were filed for the Vegas Loop from Elon Musk’s The Boring Company which will bring passengers directly to the resort’s entrance autonomously, Calif.-based Wally’s Wines is opening a two-story restaurant, and Tacos El Cabron will debut at the property with a shipping container-style space.
