There appears to be a renovation planned or underway on the space. Clark County recently issued a building permit for a “Blue Iguana” tenant improvement at Circus Circus Hotel & Casino, located at 2880 S Las Vegas Blvd. The work has a contract valuation listed at more than $490,000. It is not currently known when it will reopen.

Blue Iguana’s menu has featured favorites like the Taco Salad and Deluxe Nachos (Nachos topped with your choice of shredded beef, shredded chicken, or pork carnitas, pico de gallo, onion, sour cream, and guacamole sauce), plus tacos with protein choices like chicken, beef, pork carnitas, carne asada, and al pastor.

What Now reached out to Circus Circus Senior VP of Operations Shana Gerety on Wednesday. Gerety was not immediately available for comment.
