The Fat Tuesday brand is currently growing its US footprint. In January, What Now Las Vegas also reported on a location opening at the Grand Bazaar Shops, and still more may be in the pipeline. It’s not the first push towards expansion for the New Orleans-born, frozen-drink focused bar chain. An expansion was also attempted in the 1990’s, but was ultimately not fully realized. Signs point to more sticking power this time around.

The brand is flexible, with its locations and their layouts showing a lot of variety, some including a kitchen, restaurant, and spacious seating area, and others serving drinks only in fairly small, streamlined spaces.

What Now Las Vegas was unable to reach a representative of Fat Tuesday for comment on Monday. Further details about the Fashion Show Mall location (will it have a kitchen or a sizable seating area?) are unavailable at this time. No opening date has been announced.
