Jerk Dat Caribbean-American Cuisine, which has been serving up “the best authentic Caribbean-American cuisine in Las Vegas” on Flamingo Rd, will expand into the seafood space with a new location. Jerk Dat Seafood Bar & Grill will offer a mixture of favorites from the original Jerk Dat menu and a variety of new seafood (and other) dishes.

The menu is still under construction, owner Elijah Brown told What Now Las Vegas on Thursday, but “it’s all coming together.”

Dishes to be served at the new restaurant include Rasta Pasta with alfredo sauce, coconut milk, and red, green, and gold bell peppers—which peppers also make a cameo in restaurant’s oxtail stew. All this is offered alongside whole fish like red snapper, catfish, and tilapia.

“It’s going to be a fusion,” Brown said. “Jamaican, Italian, a lot of different foods.”

It also represents a fusion of the old Jerk Dat menu and the new addition of seafood, with dishes like Jerk Crab bringing the same seasonings to bear on new ingredients.

“We’re bringing the islands to Vegas,” Brown said. “Those vibes, that music, the atmosphere, the food, the culture. And the love.”

Jerk Dat Seafood Bar & Grill is working toward an opening in March 2022.
