What Now Las Vegas reached out by phone to owner Jeff Mai earlier this week. He confirmed the news of the restaurant’s opening, adding that the space was currently under renovation. While no opening date has yet been decided upon, JJ Gaming & Lounge is expected to open within the next few months.

Although Mai could not give the details of the menu yet, as they have not been finalized, he did confirm that it would be in Japanese Izakaya style, with a selection of small plates accompanied by a variety of adult beverages.

The location under renovation is at 4360 S Decatur Blvd Ste C-D, the former location of Jackpot Bar & Grill, which recently took its menu of sandwiches, dinner, and breakfast-all-day to a new location at 4485 S Jones Blvd Las Vegas.

JJ Gaming & Lounge will share the building at 4360 S Decatur, near the intersection with W University Ave, with S&S Barber and Salon, a local hairstylist. They can be found near the Decatur DMV-Made-Easy.
