Las Vegas Arrival of Manhattan’s Zeppola Italian Bakery Includes Location at Fashion Show Mall

News broke earlier this year that Zeppola Italian Bakery, a Manhattan-based project by Numero 28 Restaurant Group, would open its first Las Vegas location at the Venetian. Paperwork filed with Clark County several weeks ago reveals that a second location is also being planned for Fashion Show Mall Las Vegas.

In Manhattan, the café, restaurant, and bakery serves an expansive menu of sweet and savory baked goods, specialty coffee drinks, pasta dishes, and other entrees.

Guests who come hungry can choose from a selection of pasta dishes like Lasagna alla Bolognese, Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe, and Truffle and Cheese Gnocchi, as well as from entrees that include Eggplant Parmigiana, Risotto, and Stuffed Peppers. Or guests can go the more dough-based route: the Pizza Margherita, the cheesy Foccacia Di Recco, the personal-sized Pizzetta Schiachiatta, or any one of a number of sandwich varieties, including Prosciutto & Cheese, Capresse, and Ham & Brie.

The bakery menu features a wide range of baked goods, from savories to sweets like tiramisu, zeppola (the eponymous sweet fried dough), and Cannoli Siciliani. It also offers a selection of cakes: Zeppola Cheesecake, Pistachio Cake, Chocolate Strawberry cake, and more, whole and by the slice.

All of this goes well with Zeppola’s selection of teas, coffees, and other specialty drinks like the Nutella Latte, and the whole meal finishes off nicely with Zeppol’s gelato.

The bakery’s precise location within Fashion Show Mall is unknown at this time, but the building permit filed with Clark County estimates a renovation budget of $150,000.

What Now Las Vegas reached out to chef Andrea Zanin on Tuesday morning. Zanin could not be reached for comment.
