Longtime personal chef and founder of Somethin’s Cooking Chef Vee is preparing to open a new full service restaurant and bar. Supper Club 702 will open at 4531 N Las Vegas Blvd, offering elevated bar foods that are particularly inclusive of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diners.

“The idea behind the menu is going to be building relationships with local farmers,” Chef Vee told What Now on Tuesday. “We’re trying to make it as close to farm-to-fork as possible.”

The seasonal menu will feature elevated takes on familiar foods, including breakfast sandwiches, tacos, salads, and more. Wherever possible, Chef Vee says, from the sauces to the bread, everything will be made in-house.

The particular focus on diners with plant-based and gluten-free diets comes out of Chef Vee’s personal-chef experience.

“When you go to a bar, the food is always kind of heavy. Vegetarians and vegans are always overlooked. And,” adds the chef, with a friendly laugh, “they’re charging you three dollars for a side of pico. It’s not going to be like that.”

Supper Club 702 is hoping to open by the end of May.

“We’re looking to collectively show love to the community,” Chef Vee said of the restaurant’s mission.
