To the northwest of the intersection between South Wynn Road and West Desert Inn Road, a new restaurant concept appears to be planning an opening. Licensing paperwork submitted recently to Clark County indicates a restaurant called Karneval is looking to open at 4180 West Desert Inn Road.

The paperwork was submitted by Yourpanadas LLC, which runs a food truck by the same name (Yourpanadas). Yourpanadas offers, the brand’s website tells us, “appetizers and full entrees such as Caribbean favorites: Trinidadian style Stew Chicken and Roti, Cuban Style Ropa Vieja and Puerto Rican Style Arroz con Pollo.”

What Now reached out a representative of Karneval on Monday. The representative was not available for comment. For the moment we’re left waiting for more details on the brand, the vibes, and of course the menu of this upcoming project.

The West Desert Inn location is part of a small retail center that is also home to Asmara Vegas Restaurant & Bar. A little further west, West Desert Inn Road meets Arville Street, with Moondoggies Bar situated just around the corner.

No word is out yet an opening time for Karneval, so stay tuned for updates as more info becomes available.
