Founded just outside Toledo, Ohio, Marco’s Pizza has been “a Slice of the Community since 1978.” The franchise has become a pizza behemoth with more than 1200 locations in 34 states, plus Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. It has eight locations currently operating in Las Vegas, and a ninth is now on its way to retail center on the northwest corner of South Pecos Road and East Flamingo Road.

Opening at 3318 E Flamingo Road, this Marco’s is the first location for franchisee Mouhamad Hamey.
“I was a big fan of their pizza and had been looking for a business to start with my father,” Hamey told What Now in an email conversation on Friday. “We were both frequent Marcos customers and it just felt right to look into it further. Gradually, then suddenly, we were franchisees.”
Marco’s Pizza offers a variety of tasty pizza choices like the Pepperoni Magnifico (our signature Old World Pepperoni®, romesan seasoning, our original sauce and signature three cheeses) and the Hawaiian Chicken (Ham, grilled chicken, bacon, pineapple, our original sauce and signature three cheeses) as well as a build-your-own option. The menu also features sub sandwiches, salads, sides like Cheezybread and Chicken Dippers, and the chain’s branded Cinnasquares dessert. For guests looking to hold off on the carbs, crustless Pizza Bowls are also available.
Asked what he thinks stands out on the menu, Hamey confirmed: “In my opinion, the Pepperoni Magnifico is one of the best pepperoni pizzas in the city.”
Opening at the Flamingo-Pecos intersection, Marco’s joins a restaurant community that includes Ichabod’s Lounge and Restaurant, AYCE Sushi & Asian Fusion, and Village Pub.
“We will do our best to service our area with the best quality pizza,” Hamey said. “As a child, pizza nights were the highlight of my week. I hope to ensure its highlight for everyone in our area.”
