UnCommons Las Vegas’s upcoming food hall The Sundry promises a wide variety of dining choices, with two full-service restaurants and about twelve other concepts all in one space.

Many of these concepts hail from the West Coast, including Italian restaurant BarZotto, Chef Dominique Crenn’s vegan taco, mezcal, and tequila spot La Madrina, and others. But Las Vegas’s own culinary community will definitely be represented, with a new Soulbelly BBQ location from Chef Bruce Kalman and another outpost of local beignet brand Saint Honoré.
To these can be added Kávos Coastal Greek Grill, a new Greek concept from the founders of Las Vegas’s own favorite Greek chain, Meráki Greek Grill.
Meráki has grown considerably in the last few years. Its flagship location, at 4950 Rainbow Blvd., opened in 2017. Since then it has grown to include three more locations (including the Centennial Hills location that opened only yesterday), and has plans for two more by the middle of next year.
It remains to be seen what the culinary minds behind Meráki have in store for the Kávos menu. Meráki’s menu features a variety of Mediterranean favorites, including spreads like tzatziki and hummus served with pita bread and sandwiches like gyros, falafel pitas, and the Meráki Steak Burger. Entrees include Lamb Chops and Steak Kalamakia.
The clue to the difference between the Meráki Greek Grill and Kávos Coastal Greek Grill may be in the name: Coastal, implying a move away from the land (i.e. the lamb) and towards the sea.
What Now reached out to a representative of the team behind Meráki Greek Grill on Wednesday. The representative declined to comment on the Kávos concept.
