The new spot, located in the 1300 block of W. Sunset Road, will be over 3,000 square feet, according to a site plan for the Retail Shops at Sunset and Stephanie.

Occupying a corner unit, the planned Peg’s will sit adjacent to Cold Stone Creamery and across the street from Five Guys Burgers and Fries. The space was previously home to Pei Wei Asian Diner.

Peg’s opened its ninth location in the state in Las Vegas recently and has been serving the northern Nevada community for over two decades. With a signature dish of caramelized bananas added on top of their ham steak, the family-owned restaurant offers a skillet-style breakfast for its hungry customers, reports KOLO in Reno.

Named the no. 13 “Best Breakfast in America” by Esquire, Peg’s has been praised by reviewers across the state for its quality food.

Co-Owner David Farrell did not respond to a request for comment.
