Jerk Dat Seafood Bar & Grill, which promises a mixture of favorites from the original Jerk Dat menu and a variety of new seafood (and other) dishes, hoped to open in March 2022, but while that opening has not yet eventuated, the restaurant appears to be on track to open soon. A building permit was recently issued by Clark County for work at 4355 W Desert Inn Rd, with an estimated budget of $200,000.

It’s not yet known which dishes will carry over into the new menu from the original Jerk Dat location on Flamingo Rd. Dishes to be served at the new restaurant include Rasta Pasta with alfredo sauce, coconut milk, and red, green, and gold bell peppers—which peppers also make a cameo in restaurant’s oxtail stew. All this is offered alongside whole fish like red snapper, catfish, and tilapia.

“It’s going to be a fusion: Jamaican, Italian, a lot of different foods,” owner Elijah Brown told What Now Las Vegas last year. “We’re bringing the islands to Vegas. Those vibes, that music, the atmosphere, the food, the culture. And the love.”

No revised opening date has been announced for Jerk Dat Seafood Bar & Grill.
