The PKWY Tavern location opening on Flamingo Road West has begun its hiring process, according to an ad placed three days ago.
The call for applications asks specifically for part-time hosts.
The opening of the Decatur location is part of a twofold expansion for the sports bar, with a new location soon to open on Dale Avenue in Henderson as well.
PKWY Tavern serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, draft beer, and cocktails in a fun, family-friendly environment with 24-hour gaming. The cuisine is an eclectic mix of bar favorites like burgers and pizzas alongside adventurous outliers that include tacos, chicken and waffles, and pasta dishes, with vegetarian options as well.
In its location at the intersection of W Flamingo Road and S Decatur Boulevard, PKWY Tavern will compete largely with fast food restaurants like McDonald’s, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, and Taco Bell. Also nearby are JINYA Ramen Bar and Blueberry Hill Restaurant & Bakery.
