So begins the front page of the menu at Da Remo, an Italian cafe opening soon with home-style cooking in Lake Las Vegas.

“He dreamed of a rustic, warm and loving restaurant, where customers would meet at the table and feel at their grandparents’ home,” the text continues. “Today, his grandson Francesco proudly continues this tradition in the United States, in order to spread the delicious cuisine that made his grandfather famous in Italy.”

The menu that follows is a combination of cafe, Italian cuisine, and comfort food. A selection of espresso drinks gives onto cold beverages like Tea Freddo Al Limone and S. Pellegrino, plus a selection of smoothies.

To eat, Paninis like The Caprese (Ciabatta bread, fresh mozzarella, basil, tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic vinegar) and Da Remo (Ciabatta bread, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto de parma, tomatoes olive oil) lead into a very breakfast-friendly selection of Croissant Sandwiches, French Toast, Belgian Waffles, Crepes, and more. Salads like the Firenze Salad with apple, orange, and walnuts, plus omelets, avocado toast, and a broad selection of baked goods complete the picture.

No opening date has been announced yet for Da Remo, but it’s expected to be soon, so stay up to date by following the brand on Facebook and Instagram pages.
