The new Hello Kitty Cafe Las Vegas comes exactly three years after the wildly successful opening of its sister pop-up concept at The Park MGM LV in 2019, in addition to its California counterparts, which include the Hello Kitty Grand Cafe in Irvine, Calif. and two Hello Kitty Cafe Trucks that launched in 2014 and continue to traverse both coasts today. This latest opening follows on the heels of the launch of My Hello Kitty Cafe experience on Roblox, allowing fans from all over the world to create and manage their
very own cafe with the help of Hello Kitty and her friends. While making a splash in the metaverse, Sanrio knows that fans still want the opportunity to experience the brand and taste these treats in the real world. Hello Kitty Cafe Las Vegas marks the latest touchpoint in the evolution of Sanrio’s Cafe experience.

“The Hello Kitty Cafe has become an iconic destination for friends and fans across the world where they can be part of the Sanrio community and share in Hello Kitty’s global message of friendship and kindness whether it be IRL or in the metaverse,” said Craig Takiguchi, COO and Head of Business Development at Sanrio, Inc in a statement. “We are excited to be expanding the cafe experience in Las Vegas where locals and visitors can experience a new, sweet way to enjoy all things Hello Kitty.”

Fans can look forward to a unique cafe setting surrounded by colorful and supercute Hello Kitty graphics with multiple photo backdrop opportunities. The Hello Kitty Cafe Las Vegas will serve a variety of Hello Kitty-themed crafted beverages, from coffee and espresso drinks to an array of lemonades, iced teas, and milk teas. A range of delectable sweets will include Hello Kitty cakes, cupcakes, cookies, donuts, and all-new Hello Kitty soft-serve ice cream in a fresh baked Hello Kitty waffle cone. Additionally, exclusive Las Vegas merchandise will include specially designed Hello Kitty Cafe mugs, t-shirts, baseball caps, headbands and coin banks. Hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
