The original Starbread Bakery in Vallejo opened its doors in 1988 with Auntie Nelly and Uncle Romy Maranan behind the counter serving up their famous señorita rolls, made with enriched bread dough, butter, brown sugar, and breadcrumbs. As the couple’s five children grew so did Starbread Bakery, expanding across the Bay Area.

Walk into any Starbread Bakery for a mouthwatering display of vibrant donuts coated in sugar, drizzled with chocolate, and topped with sprinkles, coconut flakes, and chocolate chips. The aroma of fresh, hot dough will be enough to bring out your inner Homer Simpson (“Mmm, donuts….”). Starbread Bakery also offers a delectable selection of cupcakes, cheese pimento buns, lumpia, and malasadas remixed with dolce de leche, oreo, cinnamon sugar, and ube.

The newest Starbread Bakery will set up shop at 2381 E Windmill Lane. According to Eater Las Vegas, the bakery will settle into two vacant suites, spanning 2,400 square feet, in the Eastwind Center.

Although an official opening date has not yet been announced, be sure to check back here for updates on when Starbread Bakery will unleash the irresistible aroma of its señorita rolls into the Nevadan air.
