The Mixer Lounge is arriving at 539 E Twain Ave with drinks, eats, and a “good vibes only” policy.
Owner Janiya Jeter confirmed the news in an email conversation with What Now Las Vegas on Thursday. The “mixer” in the lounge’s name, Jeter said, describes the ability to mix socially with others.
“That is our brand,” she said. “Our mission is to create a place for everyone. There is no discrimination at our lounge. By having the name mixer we don’t identify with any specific group which makes our vibe comfortable for all who visit The Mixer.”
The lounge’s menu will feature a number of delicious comfort foods, with specials like Taco Tuesday and other evening events.
“We will be serving the best tacos for Taco Tuesday along with a taco eggroll to add some pizzazz,” Jeter said of The Mixer Lounge’s energetic menu. “We also have some of the Best wingz, mixing and matching flavors to spice it up a notch. Once we are fully open we will be moving towards a brunch style menu with special evening events.”
The restaurant plans to mix well with its community as well.
“We are also happy to be an asset bringing some new life to our area giving the neighborhood a new fresh spot to enjoy!”
The Twain Ave location is part of a small cluster of eateries and other shops near the intersection with Palos Verdes St, including Fun Hog Ranch, India Palace Restaurant, and Las Famosas de Jose.
“Don’t sleep on us,” Jeter added. “We are coming strong to the Vegas Community with good vibes!”
