First comes Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant, expected to open this fall, offering what the Eater coverage describes as “a menu of coastal Mexican flavors that uses prime meats, whole fish, street favorites with a twist, and desserts.” Expect a tequila- and mezcal-focused selection of cocktails and a space split up into several regional-themed rooms, plus an outdoor patio.

Also opening this fall is Bel-Aire Lounge, which will occupy space on the main casino floor. This “vibey bar” will offer signature cocktails, small bites, and dessert, and will feature “DJs spinning vinyl records and live performers entertaining with rock, hip-hop, pop, and indie music.”

Finally, spring 2024 will see the opening of Bel-Aire Backyard, Durango Casino & Resort’s poolside lounge. It will feature “private cabanas, oversized daybeds, and pool chairs among the backyard’s palm trees and greenery.”
