Born in Atlanta, chicken wing chain Wing Zone made the move to Las Vegas when it was acquired by Capriotti’s Sandwich Shops. Vegas’s first Wing Zone opened on Craig Road in North Las Vegas this summer, and the chain’s next stop appears to have been revealed: permit paperwork submitted to Clark County at the end of September indicates plans for a Wing Zone location at 7720 S Las Vegas Blvd.

Wing Zone’s Craig Road location offers bone-in and boneless wings and chicken tenders, available in familiar combos with fries. Those fries come in fun varieties, including seasoned Flavor Fries and the indulgent, dessert-style Funnel Cake Fries. Signature sauces come in flavors like Buffalo Bliss, Sweet Samurai, Liquid Gold, and Nuclear Habanero.

The South Las Vegas Boulevard location is part of a small retail center on the southeast corner of the intersection with East Robindale Road. Other eateries on that corner include The Bootlegger Italian Bistro and Juli N Y J.

What Now was unable to reach a representative of Wing Zone for comment this week. No opening date has been announced for a South Las Vegas Boulevard location. Stay tuned for more updates, as more Wing Zone locations can surely be expected for the brand’s new hometown.
