A sister concept to Zip Korean Tofu & Grill and Zip Pan-Asian Noodle Bar & Grill, Zip Korean AYCE BBQ appears to be planning to open a new location at The Boulevard Mall this summer, according to a post on the Spectra Global Cuisine website. The brand, whose name means “house” or “home,” already has two locations operating in California, with a third expected to open there this summer as well.

“Zip Korean BBQ,” a representative of Spectra Global Cuisine told What Now last month, “is an all-you-can-eat BBQ, where customers can experience a table full of traditional Korean side dishes and an open grill, where they can cook their own meats and enjoy the flavors of Korean style cuisine.”

The menu features a range of meats prepared by guests at in-table barbecues. These include La Beef Short Ribs, Pork Belly, Beef Tongue, Beef Sirloin, Spicy Chicken, and more. A number of side dishes like Soy Bean Paste Soup, Fish Cake, and Steamed Egg complete the picture.

Opening at The Boulevard Mall, Zip Korean BBQ would be part of a food and drink community that already includes restaurants like Viva Cafe and Just Crack ‘N Seafood, and which is also anticipating the arrival of a new outpost of Zip Pan-Asian Noodle Bar & Grill.

What Now reached out to a representative of Spectra Global Cuisine this week. The representative was not available for comment.
