Located on South Decatur Boulevard, on the southeast corner of the intersection with West Sunset Road, Decatur Sunset Plaza appears to be the home of an upcoming Chipotle Mexican Grill location. Permitting paperwork was recently submitted to Clark County for a “Future Chipotle” location at 6550 S Decatur Blvd.
Chipotle offers burritos, bowls, tacos, and quesadillas as delivery systems for proteins like steak, chicken, carnitas, and barbacoa (along with an ever-growing roster of plant-based choices). Toppings include a choice of brown or white rice, black or pinto beans, and others, like salsa, cheese, veggies, queso, and guacamole.
Opening at in Decatur Sunset Plaza, a new Chipotle location would join a food and drink community that includes Sunrise Donuts and The Nori.
What Now reached out on Saturday to Chipotle Chief Development Officer Stephen Piacentini to inquire about plans for Decatur-Sunset Chipotle location. Piacentini declined to comment on the opening.
