Located at 6835 W Russell Road, Suite 160, near the intersection with South Rainbow Boulevard, Cloud 9 Hookah Lounge is a popular local spot for hookah and relaxation. Cloud 9 has shut its doors (it’s marked “Temporarily Closed” on Google Maps), but after finding licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County by Above the Cloud LLC, What Now decided to see what the plans are for Cloud 9’s reopening.

As it turns out, most of the details are still under wraps, but a representative of the restaurant was able to confirm several key points. To begin with, Cloud 9 is currently under construction, the representative said. It can be expected to reopen in the next 2-3 months.

Furthermore, Cloud 9 will reopen with a full liquor license and a kitchen—although it’s too soon to reveal the culinary details, the representative said, as the menu is still under development.

“This lounge feels like a community, Sundays they will be playing super smash bros,” says one 5-star review on Google. “The vibe is amazing, people are polite and the workers make you feel at home.”
