Founded more than 40 years ago, Mountain Mike’s Pizza is a major family-style pizza chain based in California known for its “mountain-sized pizza.” This week, the brand announced that it has signed a franchising agreement to expand in the Las Vegas valley with five new locations by 2027. The first of the five locations—brought to Greater Las Vegas by longtime Mountain Mike’s franchisees Dalvir Janjua, Kamaljit Singh, and Manpreet Rai, who operate two locations in Reno and another in Stockton, California—is expected in early 2024.
“I moved from India in 2007 and started working for Mountain Mike’s Pizza in 2008,” Dalvir Janjua told What Now on Tuesday. “I was the GM for the Mountain Mike’s in North Bay, and I brought my family into it. We opened our first restaurant in 2017. Basically, I’ve always worked for Mountain Mike’s.”
“Mountain Mike’s makes delicious pizzas the way you remember – hand-made and with the freshest and finest ingredients,” reads a description of the brand’ menu in a recent press release. “From its legendary crispy, curly pepperoni, 100% whole milk mozzarella cheese and a variety of fan-favorite specialty pizzas, Mountain Mike’s has something to satisfy every taste. The menu also features bone-in chicken wings, Mountain Fries, garlic bread, salads, mozzarella sticks, desserts, and a selection of beer and wine. Whether it’s dine-in, catering, carryout or its own in-house delivery, guests can always count on Mountain Mike’s to deliver on quality, freshness, flavor and value.”
Mountain Mike’s has nearly 270 locations currently in operation, and the growth shows no sign of stopping.
