Soda Bomb, the Soda-Shop-and-Bakery Brand, is Coming to Vegas

Soda Bomb, the Arizona-based bakery-meets-soda-shop is planning its debut in Las Vegas. Locations on the Strip and in the Arts District are in the offing, but those looking to check out this growing, indulgent brand will soon be able to make the trek out to Moapa Valley to check out its first Nevada location. Nevada’s first Soda Bomb will open at 150 N Moapa Valley Blvd in Overton.

“We’re a family-owned business, and this is our fifth location in three years,” owner Scott Knight, who founded Soda Bomb in partnership with Alexis Knight in 2020, told What Now on Thursday.

Opening at The Dairy in Overton, Nevada’s first Soda Bomb will offer the brand’s menu of sodas, milkshakes, and ice cream, along with baked goods like macarons and cookies. It will also feature a unique dimension: the location’s 3,000-square-foot space will include a commercial kitchen for rent, allowing local restaurant businesses to serve up a wide range of cuisines right there inside Soda Bomb.

“There will be different chefs coming in every day of the week with a breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu,” said Knight. The brand is currently working through a list of applicants to use kitchen space, which Knight says is rented out at a flat rate (as opposed to profit-sharing). “We currently have a list of fifteen that we have to cut to down to half.”

The Soda Bomb space will include lounge seating, bar seating, and dining room-style seating shared between Soda Bomb and the resident chef concepts. There will also be a game room, making Soda Bomb a great place for families and friends to hang out.
