The 127-room, all-suite Springhill Suites by Marriott is located at Decatur Commons — Decatur Boulevard and CC-215 — and will be the fifth hotel in Southern Nevada that the Nigro team constructs, owns, and operates.

Springhill Suites will join tenants Starbucks and Dotty’s gaming lounge in the retail development, all projects that were also previously constructed by Nigro Construction.

“The southwest region of Las Vegas has developed so much in recent years, and there is an increasing need for this type of property to support those in the community as the population and visitor numbers grow, along with the new industrial businesses opening in the area,” Michael Nigro said in a press release.

The four-story Springhill Suites will encompass nearly 75,000 square feet and guest amenities will include a dining room, pool, fitness center, in-suite workspace and a 24-hour marketplace. The project is scheduled for completion in early 2023.

Peter Guzman of the Latin Chamber of Commerce attended and spoke as well during the ceremony to talk about construction projects, such as that Nigro Construction has continued to develop over the last two years, is continuing to provide jobs for the community during construction and after for years to come.

This was the first ceremony of 2022 for the local, family-owned, and operated Nigro Construction which continues its commitment to bring non-gaming hotels to underserved suburban areas of the city. Additional grand openings and groundbreakings for various projects are scheduled for 2023.
