One of Las Vegas’s favorite home-grown brands for drinks, pub food, and gaming, The Great American Pub currently has two locations in operation, at 9310 S Eastern Ave. and 4145 S Grand Canyon Dr. And more of the brand appears to be on the way: What Now found building permitting paperwork submitted recently to Clark County for a new Great American Pub location.

“The Great American Pub is a 24-hour bar and pub that has locations in Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada,” says the Great American Pub website. “We specialize in providing a unique Las Vegas experience, trading the neon and noise of The Strip for the freshness and familiarity of a clean, relaxed lounge. We promise great food, great drinks, great gaming, and sincere hospitality with an all-day menu and Happy Hour twice a day.”

What Now reached out by phone to one of the Great American Pub’s current locations. A representative there said the brand has recently been acquired by Golden Entertainment, and that Golden is behind the new location. Golden Entertainment is a major force in the Las Vegas gaming and tavern scenes, owning nine casino resorts, including The Strat, along with the wildly popular tavern collection PT’s Taverns.

What Now reached out on Friday to Golden Entertainment COO Steve Arcana to inquire about news of Golden’s acquisition of the Great American Pub and plans for a third location. Arcana was not immediately available for comment. No address for a planned location was found in the submitted paperwork.
