Chick-fil-A will open its 11th Las Vegas restaurant on Thursday, January 7, reps for the Atlanta-based chicken sandwich chain announced this week. The new Chick-fil-A replaces Claim Jumper, at 1100 S Fort Apache Rd, offering curbside app-ordered eats and drive-thru for the time being, daily from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. — with the exception of Sundays for which all locations nationwide are closed in religious observation.

In lieu of hosting its pre-pandemic-style events for which fans of the restaurant have been known to gather in line for sometimes days in advance, the west Las Vegas Chick-fil-A will surprise 100 frontline workers with free chicken for a year. The restaurant will also make a local food bank donation in the sum of $25,000.

Chick-fil-A operates both corporate and franchise locations. This new outpost is from Franchisee Bill Carnohan, a Vegas transplant by way of Charlotte, North Carolina. Employing 125 locals, the new Chick-fil-A was a ground-up build that got underway after Claim Jumper closed its doors in 2019 and was demolished.
