“It’s going to be very unique, very different from what you typically see set up,” owner and chef Arsine Rassam told What Now on Thursday. “We want to transport you from the dessert to a cottage in the French or English countryside.”

Rassam describes the concept as an English-style tea house with an “antique flair, beautiful ambiance, and delicious tea service.” On top of high tea, Cobblestone Cottage will offer cooking classes and put on a variety of special events in what Rassam calls a “beautiful transformational space.”

Rassam has already been proving her mettle with tea service and event catering by way of Arsine’s Catering & Events, LLC. In addition to the ones pictured here, you can check out the chef’s extremely photogenic tea-service-style cuisine at @ArsinesKitchen on Instagram.

Situated on the Sahara-Buffalo intersection, Cobblestone Cottage is one of a number of food and drink locations in the area, including Pho O.C., Swish Japanese Hotpot, and Bourbon Street Sports Bar.
