The location currently under renovation is La Bonita #4, located at 2500 E Desert Inn Road. Permitting paperwork was recently submitted to Clark County for work on the location with a contract valuation of $412,550.

“Coming Back Soon!!!” says a recent Instagram post about La Bonita #4. “We don’t have an exact date but it’s looking like the end of November or beginning of December!”

In addition to the work at La Bonita #4, La Bonita #8 is on its way in 2024, according to the La Bonita website.

“[La Bonita Supermarkets] no longer are just Carnicerias,” says the website. “The newest stores have Juice Bars serving fresh made juices and smoothies. Tortillerias making warm tortillas on a daily basis. A Panaderia baking conchas, bolillos and assorted Pan dulce fresh every morning. And a taqueria that cooks traditional and authentic homestyle Mexican food.”

What Now reached out to Jaime Martinez on Tuesday to inquire about the details of La Bonita #4’s update and the opening timeline for the eight location. Martinez declined to comment at this time.
