Matter Real Estate Group, a community-focused development firm, sold seven acres of its Matter Park project in West Henderson to Schulman Properties.
The land will be developed into an upscale apartment complex called The Place that will include, among other luxury amenities, a beach club, nightclub, and restaurant.
“We are so excited to bring our brand of luxury apartments to West Henderson,” said Schulman Properties Chairman Bob Schulman. “Like I know is the case with Matter, it’s incredibly important that we build camaraderie at Schulman Properties. We’re in the business of experience, health and community; we just happen to do so through residential resort apartment homes.”
With a focus on enhancing residents’ lifestyles, The Place will offer a tropical beach club, fitness center, shared office spaces, a conference center, and a recording studio as well as a calendar chockfull of programming and events led by a lifestyle and fitness director. Residents and their guests will have exclusive access to a 5,00-square-foot private club and Sky Bar nightclub with spectacular views of The Strip. The resort hall will feature a restaurant and bar led by Winnie Schulman that will be open to the public.
The four-story residential resort community will be made up of 232 units, ranging from studios to two-bedrooms. All units will have contemporary finishes and wall to wall windows. The two-bedroom units will include 2.5 bathrooms and a wet bar, and 115 units will feature an additional space designed for home offices.
The Place will have a prime location on Raiders Way near the new Las Vegas Raiders Headquarters and NFL training center. The community will also neighbor Matter’s $90 million Matter Park @ West Henderson, which will stretch across approximately 30 acres and consist of seven buildings and 500,000 square feet of office, flex and showroom space, and a warehouse and distribution space.
The Place will begin construction in January 2022 and anticipates a summer 2023 move-in for its first residents.
