Born as a food truck in 2021, family-run taco brand Tacos Los Barrios has been growing both in popularity (and in its footprint in the valley) ever since. The brand currently operates two food trucks and a restaurant in Henderson, and now it’s at work on its second brick-and-mortar location.

“We started in 2021, right after the pandemic,” co-owner Jorge Barrios told What Now on Thursday. “It did really well; the whole community liked it. In 2022, we did the second food truck, then in 2023, the restaurant. Now, in 2024, we’re opening the second restaurant.”

The Henderson restaurant’s menu features popular items like Quesabirria (Our Customers Favorite Item! 1 Griddled 6″ Corn Tortilla until crispy, layered with melted cheese, topped with braised beef and cilantro and onion. Order with consommé from the beef braising process for dipping and make it a perfect meal!) and the Al Pastor Taco (1 taco served with Beef, Bacon, and onion cooked in our marinade to give a unique taste and a new twist to Al Pastor! Our Best Seller!).

The new location, which is expected to open toward the end of March, will launch at 4590 S Rainbow Blvd. It will feature lots of TVs for watching the game, along with an outdoor patio. A Grand Opening will be celebrated with special deals, but Barrios said the details on the launch are still under wraps.
