“Our menu revolves around mochi,” the singer/songwriter told What Now Las Vegas in an email conversation on Friday. “So we will have everything from traditional mochi, mochi donuts, mochi waffles, pancakes and mochi ice cream and more.”

The “more” only gets more interesting: cookies and the especially intriguing mochi corn dog are also in the works.

The mochi brand’s first location is slated to open on April 4. According to coverage on DigitalJournal.com, plans are already in progress the brand’s second dessert shop, at an undisclosed location.

“It has been a long-cherished dream of mine to open a dessert store,” Mischa said in the DigitalJournal.com article. “I grew up on the islands of Guam and the Philippines. Mochi is an immensely popular dessert on these islands. This concept stuck with me, and I decided to open a store. It will give the people a chance to taste a new dessert. I will be putting a spin on traditional mochi. I am so excited to open a store in Las Vegas.

Mochi Co.’s first location will open at 7910 S Rainbow Blvd, in Suite 110, situated in a cluster of dining locations, with nearby eateries including Doh Korean BBQ, Coco Donuts, and Valencian Gold. Stay tuned for more news on this emerging brand.
