News broke last month that Corner Bar Management would open Cheapshot, a “weirdly sexy” new Fremont St destination, in partnership with Amy Saunders. The innovative management group is also set to open another hot spot on Fremont St: We All Scream.

Described on its social media as “a candy-colored collision of music, art & ice cream…topped with the filthiest sound system in town,” the 10,000 square foot space will admit 1,000 visitors, offering drinks, ice cream (hence the name), and DJ-powered music, with an emphasis on supporting visual art.

“On entering,” reads We All Scream’s page on the Corner Bar Management website, “you’ll find yourself greeted by rich dark woods, brass fittings, and drugstore ephemera, it’s a veritable warren of wonderment. A stairway to the rooftop reveals a pulsing dance floor, flaunting dynamic lighting and a precisely tuned Void Acoustics sound system – a spectacle for the senses – immersing you completely with breathtaking views of iconic Downtown Las Vegas.”

The space features a rooftop dance floor, a back-alley patio, and an ice cream parlor, which will donate a portion of each treat purchased to support a piece of public art that guests can help choose. The concept is, in other words, not so much a good idea as several good ideas rolled into one.

No official date has been named for We All Scream’s opening, but after two years of “COVID construction,” ice cream and vibes can be expected before the end of spring. What Now Las Vegas was unable to reach Corner Bar Management founder Ryan Doherty for comment on Tuesday.
