Located at 3550 S Decatur Blvd, near the intersection with Spring Mountain Road, 888 Japanese BBQ is a premium all-you-can-eat barbecue spot “where quality and affordability collide in a culinary symphony.” Offering a menu featuring Japanese BBQ dishes and a wide range of sushi choices, the brand has grown in popularity with both locals and the tourist crowd. And now it’s leveraging this success into a second location, which will open at 8955 S Eastern Ave, according to licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County.

“The menu is going to be very similar, although a little bit upgraded,” a representative told What Now on Thursday. “We’re opening because we have a lot of demand from local people. The Spring Mountain Road location has a lot of tourists, too, so here we’ll be focusing on locals. It’s a very convenient location, very easy to access.”

The 888 barbecue menu features proteins ranging from Kobe Beef to Marinated Prime Kalbi, to Premium Beef Tongue, Thin Sliced Pork Belly, to Garlic Shrimp. Sushi choices include the Jackpot Roll (In: shrimp tempura, crab mix, cucumber, avocado | Out: softshell crab mix, shrimp, eel sauce, yum sauce, tempura crunch) and the Kiss of Fire (In: shrimp tempura, crab mix, cucumber, avocado | Out: softshell crab mix, albacore, spicy garlic ponzu, jalapeno, sriracha).

The representative said the new location’s menu is still under development. It’s expected to launch before the end of the year.

Opening in Beltway Corporate Center, the new 888 Japanese BBQ will join a food and drink community that includes The Original Sunrise Cafe, Madhouse Coffee, and PT’s Ranch.
