Broken Yolk Cafe Attached to Development Proposed by Dapper Companies

The brunch brand may be planning another location, this time in Centennial Hills

What Now reported earlier this month on plans submitted by Dapper Development to the Las Vegas Planning Commission for a new development in Centennial Hills on the northwest corner of North Durango Drive and West Centennial Parkway. The submitted paperwork referred to several restaurant concepts requesting entitlements to open in the proposed development. These included Vegas-born concept SkinnyFats and toasted sandwich brand Cheba Hut.

The plans also mention Broken Yolk Cafe, for which the paperwork requested an entitlement for a “Liquor Establishment Tavern” with 4,000 square feet of indoor space and a 2,098 square-foot patio.

The Broken Yolk Cafe has been rolling out in Las Vegas for more than a year now. One location has opened in Town Square, and three more are expected Downtown and in Henderson and the southwest area. All told, a location in Centennial Hills would bring the count up of Las Vegas Broken Yolk locations up to five.

(Granted, a long journey is no doubt ahead for the development at Durango and Centennial, and, if approved, the opening of this location would be far out on the horizon.)

The paperwork states that Broken Yolk would be open until 3 p.m., offering breakfast and lunch, along with adult beverages. The brand’s menu features items like Tiki Toast made with Kings Hawaiian Bread; selections of benedicts, omelets, and skillets; and, for lunch, a variety of burgers, sandwiches, and wraps.
