According to recent coverage in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Trees is also up to something new downtown: a French Bistro called Bar Bohème, which is expected to open on Main Street a year to eighteen months from now. It will be accompanied by a cocktail bar, La Petite Bohème, just behind it in a standalone building.

What Now reached out to Chef James Trees on Tuesday. Trees was not available for comment. Asked for a description of the menu, he told the Review-Journal, “Very French…. I really want to do brasserie food well.”

Opening Downtown, Bar Bohème will be part of a thriving food and drink community in which its owner and chef is already playing a big part. Trees also owns two concepts in Tivoli Village: Al Solito Posto and Ada’s Wine Bar.
