Owner Salome Pilas confirmed the news in a Friday morning phone call with What Now Las Vegas. Pilas, who used to live in the neighborhood where the new location is slated to open, said the restaurant was planning on future expansions as well.

“Right now, we’re in the southwest, and this [location] will cover the southeast. Next, I want to go to the northwest,” Pilas said.

The new restaurant will serve the same recently-updated menu currently served at the Blue Diamond location, with Filipino barbecue favorites like pork belly and chicken Sinugba (street-style barbecue) and lumpia (Filipino-style spring rolls), alongside a new selection of breakfast items served all day long. Oming’s Kitchen also offers catering services for parties and gatherings.

The location at 2232 S Nellis Blvd is part of Winterwood Pavilion, a shopping center featuring a variety of shopping and dining locations. Nearby eateries include Yogurtland and PT’s Pub.

“We’re excited to showcase our menu,” Pilas said. “We have a lot of customers from that side of town. It’s going to be a really good location.”

Pilas also mentioned partnerships with the nearby military base and government center as part of the restaurant’s attraction to the location. It is expected to open in Spring 2022.
