Founded in 2002, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is continuing on its growth path. By the end of last year, the chain was approaching 500 locations, and now it appears to be at work on another store in the Las Vegas Valley. Building permit paperwork submitted recently to Clark County shows a new Freddy’s opening at 6875 Blue Diamond Road, at the intersection with South Rainbow Boulevard.

“Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers® was co-founded in 2002 by brothers Bill and Randy Simon with their friend and business partner, Scott Redler,” says the brand’s website. “It was named in honor of Bill and Randy’s father. Together, they built a brand focused on quality, hospitality, cleanliness and timeless traditions. Today, our Freddy’s Family creates fresh, made-to-order, craveable food, served to our guests with genuine hospitality in a fun, inclusive environment.”

The Freddy’s menu features a variety of Combo Meals, including Limited-Time-Only choices like the Pretzel Bacon BBQ Steakburger Combon and the Chicken Sandwich Pretzel Bacon BBQ Combo. Other handhelds include the California Style Double (Two steakburger patties, cheese, full slice of onion, Thousand Island, lettuce & tomato on a toasted bun) and Freddy’s Original Double Patty Melt.

On the Frozen custard side, you can choose either a Sundae or Concrete with Vanilla, Chocolate, or Half & Half Frozen Custard—then choose from toppings like Banana, Browning, Cheesecake, Hot Fudge, Reeses Pieces, and many more.

Opening at the Blue Diamond Road-South Rainbow Boulevard Intersection, a new Freddy’s Frozen Custard would join a food and drink community that includes concepts like Beans & Brews Coffeehouse, Mr. Moto Pizza, and Blue Diamond Saloon.

What Now reached out on Thursday to Jason Ingermanson, President & CEO at JRI Hospitality, which franchises Nevada’s Freddy’s locations. Ingermanson was not immediately available for comment.
