The Las Vegas Arts District will soon welcome Hola Habibi, a two-story, two-concept bar into its community of nightlife destinations. Opening at 1115 S Casino Center Blvd #1, Hola Habibi will serve up drinks, charcuterie (and other snacks) from local vendor partners, hookah, and an atmosphere that focuses on local artists and performers.

“Downstairs is going to be more Latin, Hispanic, Chicano-inspired,” Jose Borquez, who is opening the bar in partnership with George Chemor, told What Now on Thursday. “Upstairs will be more like date night, where you’ll need a reservation. And in the exterior patio upstairs, there will be hookah service.”

Hola Habibi will offer craft beer, craft cocktails made to order, and wines from Mexico and Lebanon. Its cocktails will focus on flavors from those two countries, inspired by desserts like Mexican candies, baklava, and more.

The space, which features two floors, a courtyard, and a great deal of variety in both indoor and outdoor seating, will also serve as a venue. This means plenty of special events featuring the work of local artists and performers, along with private events like weddings.

“We want to be known as a gathering space,” Bourquez said. “We’re trying to keep the art in the Arts District, so we’ll be working with artists to do live art, to have vendor spaces, and to have space for local comedians and local musicians. Everything to highlight our community in Vegas.”
