Located at 953 E Sahara Ave., Suite E-27, La Vecindad Pico de Gallo has been inviting Las Vegas to “Come sit at our family table” since 2016, and now La Vecindad’s brand is about to expand with a new sister concept. La Vecindad Cantina will open near the original eatery, at 975 E Sahara Avenue.
What Now reached out on Wednesday to owner Vanessa Barreat to inquire about plans for La Vecindad Cantina. Barreat said the location will offer a different menu than the one served at La Vecindad Pico de Gallo. The local restaurateur was not immediately available to discuss the location further.
“LA VECINDAD Pico De Gallo is a family oriented restaurant designed to make our customer feel as if they’re sitting at their family table,” says the original eatery’s website. We’re looking forward to seeing how that vibe carries over into a cantina setting.
La Vecindad Pico de Gallo (along with the upcoming La Vecindad Cantina) is part of the Historic Commercial Center District, where it’s part of a food and beverage community that includes concepts like Arawan Thai Bistro and Dessert, Pasabocas Colombian Bakery, and Vickie’s Diner.
