“We hope to be open in July if all goes well,” co-owner Patrick Littlejohn told What Now Las Vegas in an email conversation on Thursday. Littlejohn is opening the new market + café in partnership with Emily Palmer, and the pair have big plans for the space.

“The market will offer daily staples of fresh bread, dairy, eggs, fruit, but [also] hard to find items like imported mozzarella, Tomahawk steaks, foie gras, and truffles in season,” Littlejohn said.

The space will be equipped with a wood-fired pizza oven, from which guests can order Neapolitan-style pizzas to enjoy at a six-seater bar, which will sport TV’s for watching sporting events. A deli counter will offer Italian sliced meats and other deli foods by the pound. And, of course, the café: a 50-60-seat space offering pastries, breakfast items like quiche and homemade crepes, lunch items, salads, and more, along with full authentic afternoon tea.

Eventually, the café hopes to do brunch as well, Littlejohn added.

No hard opening date is available yet, but keep an eye out for staples, rarities, good eats, and more this summer at Lemon Tree Market and Lemon Tree Café!
