On the back of a successful grand opening for its Ann Rd location and news of franchise deals across the southwest, Houston’s Hot Chicken has finally landed on a space for its first Summerlin location. It was known as early as February of last year that a location for Summerlin was in the offing, but after much anticipation, Summerlin residents can now know where to look. Houston’s Hot Chicken has signed a lease at 1910 Village Center Cir.

What Now Las Vegas confirmed the news of a Village Center Cir location with a representative of the company on Monday. That representative was unable to offer further information about the location at this time.

As part of the hot chicken boom, Houston’s occupies a particular fine casual niche, sidestepping the dish’s usual fast-food presentation.

“We’re focused on being the highest possible quality, everything antibiotic- and cage-free,” co-owner Houston Crosta told What Now Las Vegas back in March. “We’ve got this product, hot chicken, that is creating an immense buzz around the country. But everyone is focused on fast food. Our goal is to be the number one fine casual restaurant in Las Vegas.”

Houston’s Hot Chicken’s newly updated menu includes the Original Hot Chicken sandwich, plus the Cheesy Hot Chicken sandwich, piling on—or rather, pouring over—the flavor. Other chicken options include the Tenders and Waffle (a hot chicken take on chicken and waffles) and a Nashville Caesar Salad. The chain’s fries also come in style as Loaded Fries (Concertina fries topped with chopped tenders, slaw, pickles & Houston’s Sauce) and Fusion Fries (Concertina fries with chopped tenders, cotija & cheddar jack, mangos, black bean corn relish, cilantro dressing & Houston’s sauce).

Keep an eye out for a new Houston’s coming soon to Summerlin as this hot chicken chain takes over Las Vegas!
