Tap N Ash Social Club, an upscale cigar hangout, is set to open near the Arts District next year. The project began as the popup Baddash Mobile Cigar Lounge and is now making a permanent home as a comfortable smoking experience with drinks, cigars, and speakeasy vibes.

“When we were doing popup events, we grew this great following,” owner Michelle Runles told What Now Las Vegas on Wednesday. “We saw that something on an upscale line for cigars just wasn’t in the area. There are great places out on the Strip, but what we’re offering is more of a speakeasy lounge feel. Your living room away from home.”

Tap N Ash will have a fully stocked humidor, as well as a self-serve tap system. Guests will be able to use ID to serve themselves beer, wine, and mixed drinks. There will also be a top shelf bar.

“What we hear from a lot of cigar smokers is that the places they go feel too much like a night club, or like somebody just threw some chairs in a room,” Runles said. Tap N Ash will be a more comfortable, welcoming environment— and not only for men. “We have quite a few female cigar smokers who follow us. They will feel just as welcome with the colors and layout, right when they walk in the door.”

Tap N Ash Social Club is working toward an opening in April or May 2022.
