“We are thrilled to be among the first in the state to do so,” said Mitch Britten, CEO of Thrive Cannabis Marketplace in a statement. “This is a huge milestone for us and we can’t wait to finish this incredible new offering in the Vegas valley.”

With the approval in hand, Thrive, along with its consulting firm RESET, will officially be able to move forward finalizing their buildout of the lounge. Thrive anticipates their final phase, which completes the space, to take only 45-days, timing the Grand Opening to fall within the industry’s largest trade show, MJBizCon in Las Vegas. As previously announced, the first-ever lounge will be located within their storefront at 2975 S Sammy Davis Jr. Drive, and aims to redefine the cannabis landscape, providing a space for customers to sample unique cannabis products just steps off of the Las Vegas Strip.

Back in June, Thrive received its provisional lounge license, naming the lounge as one of the first officially approved establishments by the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board. Now, they are once again one of the first to receive approval of this Special Use Permit and plan to begin development of the city’s debut state-of-the-art cannabis lounge experience.
