With 17 locations currently operating in California and two more in Texas, Curry Pizza House is preparing to expand into two more states: Oregon and Nevada. The first Nevada location is working toward an opening this September in Las Vegas’s University District, at 4700 S Maryland Parkway, Suite 110.

“I was thinking about opening one, and then I bumped into the owners,” franchisee Amandeep Kahlon told What Now on Monday. Kahlon, a longtime Subway franchisee and Las Vegas local, says he was immediately impressed by the quality of Curry Pizza House’s product.

“The quality is great, and the consistency is across the board, which is hard when you’re doing a franchise,” Kahlon said.

In addition to Classic Pizzas like Premium Veggie and Meat Lover’s, Curry Pizza House serves up Crafty Curry Pizzas in varieties like Chicken Tikka, Chilli Paneer, Tandoori Chicken, and Aloo Chaat (house red sauce, marinated potatoes, mint, red onion, cheese, cilantro). A Small Plates menu includes Baked Masala Chips, Desi Pesto Spicy Sticks, and Garlic Sticks W/ Jalapeños & Pineapple.

“The wings are also phenomenal,” Kahlon said. “A lot of people who try it say, The wings, though! They have a really good flavor profile; and they’re baked, not fried.”

The University District location is expected to be only the first of three to five Las Vegas locations. You can follow @currypizzahouse to keep up with Curry Pizza House news.
